Small design/build firm specializing in custom residential and small commercial projects. Projects
range from custom homes to professional offices as well as adaptive remodels for disabled veterans.
Project Architect/Manager/Aguirre Corporation Austin, TX 2005 to 2007
Project Manager for construction of Wachovia Bank branches in Austin, San Antonio and Houston
and for World Savings branch banks in Colorado, Arizona and Nevada. Administrative duties
included producing construction documents, obtaining local permits, client contact and coordination
with civil and structural engineers.
Designer and Builder/ Custom Home Brookings, OR 2003 to 2005
Designed and built a custom home using timber frame construction and green materials. Designed
and installed water harvesting and radiant heating in the floors.
Principal Architect, Murray Libersat Architect Jenkintown, PA 1996 to 2003
Owner of a design/build firm responsible for designing and building custom houses and additions.
Renovated and restored several 100+-year-old brownstones in the West Philadelphia Neighborhood
Renewal, a University of Pennsylvania program.
Project Manager, Maine Post and Beam Skippack, PA 1992 to 1996
Primary architect responsible for the design and structural drawings for approximately fifteen to
twenty custom timber frame homes per year. Duties ranged from client contact, supervision of
production staff, preparation of pricing information, bidder selection, and on-site supervision.
Project Manager, Kenny/Williams/Williams, Inc. Maple Glen, PA 1991 to 1992
Manager for a forensic firm that investigated failed buildings. Primary responsibilities included research
and construction documents for remedial repair and restoration of several major projects, field surveys,
investigation of construction methodology and materials. Supervised a staff of ten architects and
draftsmen. Major Projects: Children’s Defense Fund Building, Washington, D.C.; Cathedral Village,

Project architect for the Indira Gandhi National Center for the Arts, New Delhi, India. This was the
winning scheme of an international competition to design a large campus to be integrated into
Sir Lutyen’s master plan of New Delhi. Responsibilities included creation of design phase documents
for several major buildings in the complex and interpretation of Indian culture and philosophy.

As principal of a small design/build firm specializing in custom homes, multifamily residential projects
and commercial projects, my duties covered the spectrum—from feasibility studies to supervision of
the final product. Major Projects: Restoration of Commodore Perry Mansion, City Restaurant,
Comanche Street Apartments and numerous custom homes
Fellow & Scholar, Fulbright Fellowship Kerala, India 1980 to 1984
Awarded research fellowship to study under one of the last renowned hereditary architects of Kerala.
Research scope was to provide a means of documentation in order to implement preservation of the
tradition. Studied in the ancient way with emphasis on two major architectural texts on domestic and
temple architecture. Part of my duties was to design and supervise projects for his clients in India.
